Name: Zaid Gitesatani Article #: 1 Title of Newspaper: North County Times " Title of Article ": Calif. teacher who stored explosives in jail Web Adress: http://www.nctimes.com/ap/state/calif-teacher-who-stored-explosives-in-jail/article_c07cfbd7-8e38-53c8-86d0-a5afe08ba4f3.html Topic Article Addresses: Don't hold illegal materials on school property a A 34-year-old Livingston high school teacher has been arrested. Japhia Huhndorf a chemistry teacher was accused of storing an explosive material in her classroom is now arrested and is waiting formal charges.During the investigation the police claimed they found 4 milliliter of nitroglycerine an active ingredient for making explosives. After the investigation Japhia did not tell the investigators why she had these explosives on school property. Prosecutors say they have not yet filed charges against Japhia Huhndorf. Also Japhia Huhndorf's bail is $ 500,000 dollars. This connects to the 4 amendment. The 4 amendment is search and arrest. When you search a person or a person's property you must have a warrant to search them. The school didn't have the right to search the teacher's property. Also the teacher didn't have the right to hold the illegal materials on school property. This connects to my life as a citizen by telling me not to hold dangerous explosives. Explosives are dangerous and illegal. This tells me not to keep them on school property. If you get caught with explosives you can be in jail for many years. This is a lesson telling me not to hold illegal explosives on school property. I think Japhia Huhndort shouldn't have been hired for a teacher if she was already arrested in the past. Also I think a police should have been checking on Japhia from time to time. I think she should have had a doctor to help her with her issues. Japhia Huhndorf should be in jail not released. Japhia shouldn't have been carrying explosives on school property.
