The man was released on bond. Three days later the man was stopped for improper lane, and driving 94 miles on a 60 miles west detroit. So the man was put back in jail. Drug sniffing dogs found the 104 bricks of cocaine. - This is a criminal court case which the judicial branch handles.This crime connects to the 5 amendment. The 5 amendment is called Rights in criminal cases. The criminal's rights are double jeopardy. Double jeopardy allows the criminal that they cannot be tried twice for the same crime. - This connects to my life as a citizen by telling not to commit a crime with drugs. Drugs are bad for your health and it can kill you. Also drugs are illegal in the U.S.. The man was released but he was put back in jail three days later for improper lane.This is a lesson not to carry drugs or break street laws. - I think the 87-year-old man should have been put in jail from the criminal case. The jury and judge gave the man a chance from the releasing him.But the man didn't pay attention and got in trouble again. The man broke the street laws and was put in jail. I think the 87-year-old man should have been in a retirement home.
